Anybody who knows me knows that I am not the most technologically friendly person, but we’ve got this shiny new website so I might as well start utilizing it. I figured I’d start with a BIG update on all the things going on here at CrossFit Minot.
First up is our 5th annual Memorial Day Murph Challenge on May 27th at 10 am. You can take on the whole workout yourself or break it up and tackle it with a team; either choice is guaranteed to be a fulfilling workout and great way to pay homage to those no longer with us. We’ll also have a little BBQ and a couple games set up afterwards for all to enjoy. If you are interested in registering for the official Murph Challenge or want to donate to the LT. Michael P. Murphy Memorial Scholarship Foundation head over to themurphchallenge.com.
Next is our monthly On-Ramp program kicking off Monday, June 5th at 7:30 pm with an information meeting and covering why we do what we do and how we go about doing it. The program will run Mon/Wed/Fri at 7:30/7:30/6:30 pm. The cost is $135 and we cap the group at 8, so get your spots soon!
If you’re the adventurous type, there is a few races coming up around that may grab your attention. One of which is the Iron Will Warrior Challenge on Saturday, June 10th at the Bottineau Winter Park with the proceeds benefiting Anne’s House Adaptive Rec Program.
June 24th and 25th in Fargo, ND, CrossFit Minot will have 13 of it’s members throwing down in the 4th annual Dakota Games. Whether you want to come with to watch an amazing two days of fierce competition or if you want to lend a hand and help the event flow smoothly either choice is greatly appreciated!
And finally, CrossFit Minot is going to host a Pose Method Running Clinic on Saturday, July 8th from 8am-12pm with running expert Albert Lu. Cost for the clinic is $80 and sure to be well worth every penny!
