School’s back in session, the days are getting shorter, and the Vikings are about to start their 52nd year of disappointing fans. But who know’s, it could be their year. It can definitely be your year and we’re going to help make that a little easier here at CrossFit Minot by expanding our schedule. We’ll run our current schedule through Sept 2nd, we’ll be closed Monday Sept 4th for Labor Day then on Tuesday, Sept 5th the new schedule will take off. We’re adding 0530 to Monday and Friday, so it’ll be an everyday class. We’re switching the 0900 to 0700 and that will be followed by an Open Gym slot from 0800-1000. We’ll be closed from 1000-1400 then we’ll reopen with an Open Gym from 1400-1600. Our afternoon classes will run 1600/1700/1800/1900. Fridays will not have a 1900 class and while our On-Ramp course is going, Monday and Wednesday’s 1900 will be an Open Gym time. Saturdays will still be 0930. September is going to be a month long trial period for this schedule so if it needs some tweaks and adjustments stay tuned for any updates!
Lot’s of dates to mark on those calendars! First will be the always popular Ladies Night Wod-n-Wine on Sept. 8th at 7pm. Bring a friend and a bottle of your favorite wine (cheaper the better!) and have a blast with all the gals who make this place great! Then on Sept 11th we’re going to kick off a Paleo Challenge . $5 buy in and we’ll have weigh ins/body fat checks and a strength test and workout going on all week. At the end of the 4 week challenge we’ll test out and the person with greatest improvements in each of the 4 areas will be awarded $25! If you take top spot in multiple categories, you take home multiple $25 prizes!! It’s amazing how much nutrition plays into performance and this will be a good way to build that foundation with food.  Sept 11th is also going to be the start of our next On-Ramp course. A 3 week, 3 day/week course starting with the basics and building through the complex movements at the end. We’re going to meet Mon/Wed/Fri at 7pm each night and workout for an hour, except Friday’s will be a 2 hour special! And there is still time to get your team together for the Festivus Games on Oct. 14th taking place right here in Minot! Get your team in before Sept 1 to get a shirt included with your entry fee! I’m sure more dates will be added to our schedule, so keep an ear open!!
